  • Shimano R550 SPD-SL Road Pedals Black

Description

The Shimano PD-R550 SPD-SL Road Pedals are an excellent entry-level option at a great price. They feature a wide, lightweight resin body that maximizes power transfer and support while minimizing weight. The low-maintenance sealed cartridge axle unit ensures hassle-free riding all year round.

The low-profile platform with an open design allows for easy access and cleat adjustments. These pedals are easy to clip into and release, yet provide a stable fit for maximum power transfer. The wider cleat and binding mechanism offer better shoe-to-pedal contact compared to traditional SPD systems.

Features:

  • SPD-SL road pedal for entry level use at a value for money price
  • Wide lightweight resin body provides large shoe contact area to maximise power transfer and support whilst reducing weight
  • Low maintenance sealed cartridge axle unit
  • The low profile platform with open design allows for easy access and cleat adjustments
  • Easy to clip into and release but with stable fit for maximum power transfer to the pedals
  • Wider cleat and binding mechanism for better shoe/pedal contact than traditional SPD systems
  • Comes with SH-SH11 shoe cleat yellow which provides 6 degree of sideways float
  • Weight: 310 grams per pair
