Mondraker's DNA comes from DownHill Mountain Bike racing, there’s no denying it and their proud of it. A DownHill Mountain Bike is the Formula 1 of mountain biking. It’s where prototypes are put through the wringer, hammered by the tracks and the riders. That’s why at Mondraker they have a top-level international team: the Mondraker Factory Racing, which includes world-class riders such as Dakotah Norton and Ronan Dunne. The DH bikes will continue to be available as carbon or aluminium framed versions, depending on rider preference.

Mondraker have over 20 years of experience in manufacturing high-performance Downhill mountain bikes. The Summum has found itself on the world cup podium countless times including the famous 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at Val di Sole in 2016.

The Summum prototype was introduced in 2009, Fabien Barel’s World Cup victory at Maribor – Mondrakers first Elite WC win! With the Subaru-Mondraker Team he was riding featuring the new Zero Suspension platform.

With its superlight Stealth Alloy structure, the 2012 Summum Pro Team was the lightest DH race bike in the circuit (until the arrival of the Summum Carbon!). Emmeline Ragot rode it to World Cup victory at Fort William and Brook McDonald to his first World Cup win in Val D’Isere. With ground-breaking geometry and Zero Suspension, Mondraker made the same bike raced by the World Cup winners available to the public… and it was the same bike that Markus Pekoll rode to win the European Championships in 2013.

Fast forward to now and the Summum features superlight Stealth Carbon, as well as an Stealth Alloy frame option, Forward Geometry and Zero Suspension System.
