An aggressive tread in high-volume casing, designed with great traction in mind. The Maxxis Ardent doesn't forget the racer with large block-style side knobs offering numerous edges for high-speed cornering. The centre tread, while ideal for braking and accelerating traction, also features ramped knobs to minimise rolling resistance. With a wide variety of size offerings, the Ardent captures every mountain rider's needs

Folding - Kevlar beaded tyre, lighter weight and more supple

DUAL - Two compounds used within the tread of select tires to offer lower rolling resistance and increased cornering grip.

Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres provide the benefits of a UST tubeless tyre without the weight penalty. The square bead profile of our TR tyres is designed to work with the broad range of tubeless rims available on the market today. Our TR tyres use a special construction which allows the use of liquid sealants to make them airtight and to help prevent punctures. If needed, Maxxis TR tyres can also be used with an inner tube.

EXO is an extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tires. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.

    Great stuff bike tart

That time of year when I start to think about riding off road. My MTB tyres looked a little worn, so had a bit of an internet wander, and found my preferred tyre from Maxxis at biketart. Good prices and delivered promptly.

They set up TL no bother, and performed really well at first hack round Llandegla...

    Will be back..

    Gone tubeless.

Perseverance paid off. Answer seems to be to mount tyre with tube first and leave for 24hrs.Remove tube and remount tyre. I added sealant through valve. Inflated tyre X3 over 3 days and success !!. I think makers of folding tyres could provide some instructions and troubleshooting tips Maybe I am asking too much! No issues Iwith bike tart.Tnanks for good service.
