Description

The Aggressor is designed for high-speed modern mountain bike trails. Advanced knob shaping creates extra gripping edges, and reinforced side knobs offer enhanced stability when cornering at speed. An all-around trail tyre excelling on everything from loose cross country race courses to heavy all-mountain riding.

Folding - Kevlar beaded tyre, lighter weight and more supple

TR Tubeless Ready - Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres provide the benefits of a UST tubeless tyre without the weight penalty. The square bead profile of our TR tyres is designed to work with the broad range of tubeless rims available on the market today. Our TR tyres use a special construction which allows the use of liquid sealants to make them airtight and to help prevent punctures. If needed, Maxxis TR tyres can also be used with an inner tube.

EXO - An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tyres. This densely woven material is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tyre remains unaffected.

DD Double Down - DoubleDown (DD) is the next step in the evolution of the dual-ply tire casing for enduro racing. Two 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert provide the enduro racer with the support and protection of a downhill tire, but in a lighter package.

    Summer rubber

Nice summer tyre , rolls faster than a DHR or Highroller, bit on the skinny side though I should of got a 2.5

    Maxxis Aggressor review

Replaced a Maxxis Rekon and although the Aggressor is slightly wider (2.5) it appears just as fast but with improved traction on the loose up hills and more confident in the fast corners.

    Reliable on the rear

Great all year round tire for the rear - Been using these for a couple of years now and they're hard wearing and provide just the right amount of grip across everything. They're also pretty hard wearing so you won't be replacing all the time.
