  • PX Carbon 2027 Phantom Black / M

The mountain biking world changed when Amflow dropped the original PL model, now entering the arena is the PX Carbon. Lighter and more powerful, the PX defies what was previously thought possible.

The Amflow bikes have more than impressed us at Biketart, not only is the performance truly incredible but the reliability is top notch. Most importantly these bikes are so much fun out on the trails. It's very hard not to recommend the PX as your next all-mountain electric mountain bike.

DJI Avinox M2S Drive System -

At the core of the PX is the immutable DJI Avinox M2S motor, now pushing an incredible 105nm of torque with a peak power output of 1500w, all at a svelt weight of 2.59kg. This performance is simply unmatched in electric mountain biking.

Powering the M2S is an integrated high-capacity 700wh battery. This new unit comes in at a weight of 3.18kg. Included with the bike is a fast-charger.

The M2S Drive Unit utilises multiple high-precision sensors and intelligent algorithms to adjust output in real-time, delivering a natural, linear pedalling feel. The Avinox Drive System also features a specialised Auto mode [6], which adapts assistance in real-time based on road conditions and riding position. For the most challenging trails or steep inclines, activate Boost mode [7] to instantly get 150N·m [3] of torque and 1500W [3] high-power assistance.

Frame -

The AmFlow PX's frame is ultra-lightweight and has been designed with an all-new cutting-edge progressive geometry. The result is an unbelievably versatile platform that can handle all terrains, trails, or bike park runs you could aim at. To top it off, the frame comes in at an outstanding 2.4kg, meaning the bike feels agile and playful, the perfect partner for that sublime motor. The frame can be dialled in to your needs with a potential of 40 configurations thanks to 5 headset angle settings, 2 bottom bracket height settings and 4 chainstay length settings.

Warranty and after-sales support -

The PX and Avinox M2S system have gone through the toughest of reliability tests before coming to market, though should you need help, the PX frameset is covered by a 5-year limited warranty (to the original owner), the Avinox motor and battery are covered by a 2-year warranty. Every Amflow PX is backed by a multi-channel after-sales service; should anything go wrong, it will get sorted.

Sizing

The Amflow PX Carbon is available in four frame sizes. The height ranges below are a useful starting point, but where sizes overlap, reach is the most important measurement for fit — a longer reach suits riders who prefer a more stretched, aggressive position, while a shorter reach works better for those who prefer to sit more upright.

  • M — 157–173cm (5'2"–5'8") — Reach: 452mm, Stack: 626mm

So far I’m impressed, very light and agile for an e-bike, and I’ve had a few, looks good with the slim down tube, the suspension is as you would expect from fox and the breaks are powerful with good modulation. I would say this bike is the best e-bike I’ve owned by some margin.
